Birds have been a favorite subject for artists since Icarus expressed his creativity with a few feathers and some beeswax. Too bad he didn't have any duct tape!

While I share an admiration with most bird lovers of owls, hawks and eagles, and indeed stand in awe of their sheer beauty, power, and mastery of their universe, I have over the last 15 years or so, developed an affinity for a family of birds that many shun -- or do not consider worthy of study.

It was a pleasant surprise, when a few years ago, I exhibited, along with two other artists, "An Evening with Corvus brachyrhynchos." Crow people came out of the woodwork -- uh, the Cornfield!!
We are everywhere!
