Driving along the beach, we saw a couple hundred people up ahead. It was time for the annual dance, dig and dine. For most clams of the razor variety, it was a close shave -- ! |

How anyone can eat
these things is beyond me. I am happy to say, my diet is bivalve free!
I mean, look at those things! --------------------------- But the searchers keep searching. Tapping the sand, scaring the poor little buggers into leaving a little dimple. |

Then digging like crazy
hoping to get the clam before it reaches China. --------------------- "I think there's a clam over there," said the guy on the left. "Yep," said the guy on the right. Washingtonians are somewhat laid back. |
